What Are UL Certification Standards for Chargers?
As CCC products are becoming more and more light, easy to carry, the volume of a charger has been more and more small, small volume, safe hidden trouble came out, so in order to let consumers to buy the security products, many products before leaving the factory require UL certification, UL certification is product safety performance testing and certification, so what are the charger UL standard?
1. Apply for UL certificate
The applicant signs the application form and the tracking service agreement and sends the form back to UL. The sample will be sent by bank transfer at the post office or by speed post. Please give the appropriate description (e.g. name, model) of the sample charger. Please send the application form and charger sample separately. For each application, UL will specify a unique project number (Project No.) indicating the project number and the name of the application company when remitting, sending samples and application forms for UL to check.
2. The product needs to be tested
Upon receipt of your signed application form, remittance, and test samples, UL will advise the completion date of the test plan. Testing of charger products is generally carried out in UL lab in the United States. UL can also accept the data of participating third party testing after verification. Test samples will be sent back or destroyed according to your requirements.
If the test results of charger products meet UL standard requirements, UL will issue a test qualification report and follow up service specifications. The test report will detail the test status, sample performance, product structure and safety mark suitable for the use of the product. The tracking service specification includes a description of the product and instructions for the UL area inspector. A copy of the test report is sent to the applicant company and a copy of the tracking service details is sent to each manufacturing plant.
3. The applicant is authorized to use UL logo
Contact area of the UL inspector production factories in China for the first time the factory inspection, the inspector check the product and its components, in the case of production line and warehouse inventory, to confirm whether the structure of products and parts and tracking service details, if required in the detailed rules, area inspector will witness the experiment, when the test results meet the requirements, applicants receive authorized the use of the UL mark.
